GenLingo is a generational communication platform that helps bridge language gaps between generations by:

  • Translating modern slang and generational language
  • Interpreting emojis with generational context
  • Suggesting appropriate responses
  • Analyzing communication patterns (premium feature)
  • Detecting crisis signals in youth communication

3. Privacy-First Architecture

4. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

5. Subscription Services

GenLingo offers premium subscription services (SubText) with the following terms:

  • Monthly subscriptions renew automatically until canceled
  • You can cancel at any time through account settings
  • No refunds for partial months
  • Prices subject to change with 30 days notice

6. Crisis Detection Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: GenLingo's crisis detection feature is a support tool, not a replacement for professional mental health services or emergency intervention.

  • False positives and false negatives can occur
  • Always consult mental health professionals for serious concerns
  • In emergencies, contact local crisis services immediately
  • GenLingo is not liable for outcomes related to crisis detection

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use GenLingo to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on others' intellectual property rights
  • Harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Distribute malware or malicious code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of GenLingo are owned by GenLingo and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

GenLingo provides the service "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to GenLingo immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.
